Laura Dickson is the Lead Consultant for Partner in Risk Inc. based in Calgary, Alberta, but offering services across Canada.
Vision: Helping companies persevere in difficult times.
Mission: To bring large company risk techniques to smaller companies, without breaking the budget.
Initially targeting construction and retail sectors. Laura enjoys working with any entity that sees the value of risk assessment and business continuity.
Laura’s 20-year career includes ten years in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for an Alberta based firm. Her skill set includes risk assessment, proposal management and project management.
She prepared an Avian Flu Pandemic Plan in 2008.
Laura managed an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and risk register. Her initiatives resulted in time savings of 50% and an improvement in quality.
In 2015, Laura earned her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and an MBA in 1999 from the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. Laura views issues from a wide lens as she also has a Fine Arts degree (BFA) from the University of Calgary.
